Wiesbaden
Wiesbaden is a city in central Germany. It is the capital of the state of
Hesse and is situated about 30km west of
Frankfurt. Wiesbaden and the city of
Mainz are adjacent to each other, separated only by the river Rhine.
Wiesbaden has about 274,000 inhabitants. It is not known how many of them are English-speaking expats. There are three pubs where English-speakers tend to hang out. These are: Danny Boy Irish Pub, The Irish Pub, and Scrooges Pub. There is also a Scrooges in
Mainz.
Wiesbaden is twinned with Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent, UK.
