Eching
Eching is small town north of Munich. It is best known for its industrial park ("Gewerbegebiet Ost"), which is home to several furniture stores including Ikea, Roller, Möbel Maxx, Domäne and the upmarket Möbel Chalet, as well as an OBI (DIY store) and two kitchen studios.Eching is located on the S-Bahn line S1. The retail park is about a 15-minute walk from the station (walk north along the road that follows the tracks, then turn right at the level-crossing). There is also an irregular bus service from the station. By car, exit the A92 at "Eching Ost" (junction 4) or the A9 at "Eching" (junction 69). The stores are all found along Dieselstrasse and Liebigstrasse.
