just been there for lunch and thought it was great. Pasta, Pizza, Salad for 5-8€ really good. Something for a lovely quick lunch. The food quality is really good too. It's self service and reminds me a bit of wagamama. They have a fantastic roof terrace which is so nice and relaxed to sit there. Of course you get lots of business ppl there during lunch time but it is definitely not as posh as the Armani cafe next door, more like the Thai restaurant on the lower floor.
It definitely has become my favourite lunch place on a sunny day.

The place looks great and it's really rather cheap... a good place to go on a date during the week, as getting the food is quite 'fun' and a good talking point should you be running out of smooth chat up lines.

The gf and I went there for lunch yesterday for the first time...it was great! Fairly nice atmosphere...but what we liked so much was the prices were very reasonable, the food cooked-to-order right in front of you, and the food itself was delicious.

Sadly, the VaPiano at Schrannenhalle is no longer. It was bought out by another Italian place.

just been here for lunch, was very busy! had to wait a little for our food, but it was worth the wait. lunch for 2 came to 24€, not the cheapest, but fresh and tasty food, nice for a treat.
Illy espresso too!

the boyf and I went last week and I thought it was awful. I have been many times and enjoyed it but this time, the portions were smaller , more expensive and over-cooked!! yuk!!

When you walk in, you are handed a plastic card, and you charge the food and drinks to it. You then pay by the exit before you leave. It was pretty close to a full house on the Saturday night when we went, but people were coming and going all the time so we didn't have a problem finding seating. The mixed salad we ordered was good. The pizza was disappointing. I'd return for a salad there if I was in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't go there for pizza.

just wanted to mention the Vapiano at Arabellapark. we've been a few times recently, the staff are lovely and the cooks speak English! there's a baby changing room too, as well as high chairs for littluns. very family friendly!
not the cheapest place, but the food is quite nice, desserts to die for, good coffee too.
