Today at 11am the public warning sirens in Bavaria will be tested. A wailing tone lasting one minute will be blasted out without warning. In case of an emergency this tone means “Turn on your radios and wait for public announcements

Just heard on the radio that there'll be a siren test at 11am throughout Bavaria, and will last about a minute.

Strangely the fire-alarms were tested at work here (a Nottinghamshire council) at precisly the same time. Does this mean Nottinghamshire has been appropriated by Bavaria?
