The safety of 5G has not been tested in any way yet. Here is the ex-CEO of Microsoft Canada:

5G is actually a weapon tech used by Israel and the US.

Half-truths and probably drunken speculation...

Quote

Extremely high frequency (EHF) is the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) designation for the band of radio frequencies in the electromagnetic spectrum from 30 to 300 gigahertz (GHz).

...

Often stylized as mmWave in 5G contexts, frequencies near the low end of this band are designated for use in the newest generation of cell phone networks

My conspiracy theory about conspiracy theory

I wonder why these 5G conspiracy theories became popular now. What makes 5G so special in comparison to 4G and 3G?

4G: theoretical speeds up to 250 MBit/s (not even half of that in practice)

5G: theoretically 1-3 gigabits/s

5G will be the end of cable internet. Even though in many countries the same companies provide Internet and mobile Internet infrastructure, I think the ISPs run these conspiracy theories because they still need to get profit from investment in 4G, so better postpone 5G for future and let the Luddites do the job.

He does not understand that the videos being pulled are not just the normal level of stupid on YouTube. They are a special level of stupid and are dangerous to public health on top of being demonstrably untrue and wildly vacuous.

So the conspiracy theories are actually a conspiracy.

It`s like a riddle wrapped up in an enigma

Like mobile phones in Africa and some parts of India, it's possible for newer technology to totally leapfrog over "middle" technology. I have family who live only 100km from a major city in Canada, and have acceptable-but-nothing-amazing internet (at prices you don't even want to know, you'd cry) with throttled monthly limits. It's rural, but not totally out there wilderness or anything. At their prior place, the only way to get internet would've been satellite, there was no connection at all, phone internet is no longer supported, no TV cables, nothing. So instead they drove to the nearest public library or coffeeshop to leach free wifi...

Anyway, it will take years if not a couple decades for 5G to reach 'everywhere', and the "in practice" real data rates are not likely to be actually near what's advertised. The real reason for the 5G push is self-driving cars and more connected everything via the "internet of things" which needs it. But the AI driving systems, much less the regulation and infrastructure, are still a decade or more off. I see no real reason for a mad "buy now, ask later" 5G dash.

For home use, in theory, cable broadband can compete quite well with 5G, you just need -- ta da -- the cables (or fibres) wired into every home. In urban areas, this might be considered more reliable. Rural areas may prefer to pool resources and take a cell tower as a quicker/cheaper solution than cabling up everyone spread over a wider area. And it's not like one or the other is a clear resource/energy winner. 5G is claimed more energy efficient for bits sent, but it will almost certainly create a Jevon's Paradox. More efficient X doesn't reduce use of Y, but increases it due to the efficiency increase making it easier. Wider highways don't facilitate the same number of cars "better", they facilitate more cars overall. 5G requires whole new tech (i.e. devices capable of handling it) so you can stream your Ultra HD 3D virtual hologram-projected porn that much faster. Last but not least, we really should a be a little more skeptical of Huawei and China's state sponsored industries.

Oh look! One of jeremy's friends got arrested -

Quote

An Illinois woman inspired by pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory videos traveled to New York City on Wednesday with more than a dozen illegal knives and threatened to kill former Vice President Joe Biden, according to police and her own social media posts.

New York police officers arrested dancer Jessica Prim, 37, on Wednesday after she began to act strangely on a city pier. In a live video Prim posted on Facebook of her arrest, she ranted about saving children and claimed she had come to New York because of an internet conspiracy theory video about a “cabal” of pedophile Democrats.

“Have you guys heard about the kids?” a tearful Prim said as she was arrested. “OK, I’m not lying.”

Shortly before her arrest, Prim posted on Facebook that Hillary Clinton and Biden “need to be taken out.”

“Hillary Clinton and her assistant, Joe Biden and Tony Podesta need to be taken out in the name of Babylon!” Prim wrote. “I can’t be set free without them gone. Wake me up!!!!!”

One of Rolf Harris's four accusers in his first trial -- who was in debt and sold her story to Australian media outlets a year before his trial, including giving a TV interview that was published straight to YouTube, where she told a story that had around 20 points in common with a story told in a TV interview and published to YouTube seven months earlier by a Jimmy Savile accuser, subsequently investigated by the police for fraud -- claimed that Rolf Harris did done to her while she was wearing tights/pantyhose what Tara Reade claims Joe Biden did to her while she was wearing tights/pantyhose.

So Jimmy Savaloy and Rolf are innocent?

It was a conspiracy?

There`s the technology angle with 5G,Bill Gates and China are involved.
