Conspiracy theorists

That guy reminds me of this comment, in particular the first and last sentences:

"It's fairly clear that the "Activists" are mostly petty criminals and ex-alcoholics or hop-heads. The head honchoes that are visible all have well-dodgy CV's and appear to vary their stories as they go along. They also never have real contemporaries to add balance or credence to their versions of events. You have to believe them - end of discussion. If you don't they fly into wild temper tantrums.

They flew into a rage when David Rose got the Mail to re-expose Steven Messham, although why Messham needed to be exposed yet again is baffling. Rose referred to it as Institutional Amnesia I think. I would see it more as conniving sensationalist journalism, political agendas and pure commercial greed by a pack of lying liars and sex fantasists. I'm sure a lot of them get their jollies describing all this sex stuff."

I'm puzzled as to how anyone could possibly know another person's credit card number, let alone a royal's, and how anyone could verify whether they'd recited it correctly.

On a simple level, I had always thought of conspiracy theories being beliefs of those who question what we are told to believe through the media etc.  Seemingly nothing wrong with that as so much of what we have been lead to believe has been proven untrue or corrupt...off to order my tin foil hat then...

Nope that`s just  a good distrust of the media which you should have.

Conspiracy theories come in many shapes and sizes, some just outright weird like that Michele Obama is really a man or that the world is run by lizard people disguised as humans.Chemtrails turning us into a world of mindless automatons.911 was conducted by the CIA etc who thought nothing of apparently killing 3000 people but didn`t kill the 2 kids who exposed them.

Some are actually hurtful to many people such as the fact that Sandy Hook didn`t happen and was staged or the Clintons and many powerful people run a pedophile ring from a pizza parlour and that they eat babies.

Some are very dangerous as in the chemo is just a con by "big pharma" and canabis oil or sugarballs (as someone already mentioned) are all you need to cure cancer.

Then there is the anti vax brigade who think that vaccinations cause autism  because that`s what big pharma wants and that the vaccinations include drugs to turn people into "sheeple".

One of the bad things is that if a conspiracy is ever uncovered and is an actual conspiracy then no one is going to believe it because of the wackjob conspiracy theorists out there.

Qanon is at it again. This time it's Oprah. How can people be so stupid and gullible and hateful???

Quote

Oprah Winfrey has not been arrested — she’s in self-quarantine like many others amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Early Wednesday morning, the TV icon and OWN honcho took to Twitter — where her name was trending — to slam the false internet rumor that she had been arrested for a role in a global sex trafficking ring.

Winfrey, 66, called it an “awful FAKE” rumor and “NOT TRUE.” She said she hadn’t “been raided, or arrested.” In fact, she just been at home “sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world.”

False reports circulated claiming Winfrey’s Boca Raton, Florida, home had been raided and the talk show queen had been arrested. It included photos and video from outside the house and details about the home being cordoned off by authorities while it was raided and underground tunnels were searched. It claimed “Hollywood pedophiles” were arrested at the “child trafficking location.” (Winfrey has quite a real estate portfolio, but it does not include property in Florida.)

the rest

The point is that they are stupid and gullible and hateful and all of that is being used by someone else to make them stupid and gullible and hateful and uninformed.

I'm confident our resident tin foil hatters will have a good deal to say about this. Or they'll just plaster the threads with this latest accusation.

Yawn.

I like the Greta is Satan conspiracy theory. When she whined about her dreams being taken, and no one really responded to give her the dreams back, the angry teen anti-Christ dropped the coronavirus on the world, where it would mainly wipe out those adults that didn't do what she wanted them to. Sounds like a great Marvel comic plotline.

Of all the 5G stupidness I've seen, this is probably the stupidest.  Worse yet, I can totally follow the fucked-up chain of thoughts that leads people here.  I think by the time you're this far down the rabbit hole, there's no saving you.  Main reason why I don't usually bother to argue with someone once they start reporting from the inside of it.

Don't you have to pause and ask yourself, "is this actually just bonkers?  Is it possible I'm losing my mind a little bit and really just need some rest?"

Take a walk or drive to your local school to see if you notice anything unusual, such as work vans or telecom companies on site.

not work vans!  Not at a school while it's out of session!  What else could it possibly be?

I saw a bloke come to measure the water metres in our street today, Dessa. Definitely suspicious!
The dogs barked and thought he was weird as well.

probably installing that 5G water while you're not looking.

The dogs can smell that scam a mile away.  All dogs know that 3G water is just as wet.  They only want you to think 5G water is faster and wetter.  But all it really does is give you the autism

@Space Cowboy you're telling me.  The friend who posted it also privately sent me a two-hour David Icke video.  I asked him why I should watch it.  He said, "because it keeps getting taken down from YT."  I couldn't stomach more than 20 minutes of it but saved the rest of it for a rainy day when I needed to laugh and cry at the same time.  By that time it had been taken down from Vimeo, too.

The problem is that taking that stuff down just makes its adherents believe in it that much more.  For my friend, the fact that the gibberish of a man not only stupid but also clearly insane kept being deleted was just proof that he was on to something and "TPTB" wanted to silence him to keep him getting the "news" out.

The sad thing is that yes, I start to have doubts about my friends and acquaintances who post stuff like this.  Luckily, I don't have many who show up on my feed according to my FB algorithm, but three or four are enough.

Wrong, dessa! The dogs KNEW no Greek works at 8 in the morning!😀😂

Actually, given the lethargy in our village, make that ANY hour of the day!😜😂🙏🏻

PS- some minor building work going on next door and there are some planks of wood on the pathway and the wood will be thrown away/ disposed of at some stage. People could stumble over the planks ( old neighbours and half- blind yours truly😜) and I asked him when he would take away the wood.

” In about 5 weeks.”

I rest my case!

😂

By the way, my partner, Nicole said: “ he lied to you.”

Me: “ I know.”

Nicole: “ he comes on his motorbike every day. How is he supposed to take it away? “

😂

When a conspiracy is proven without a doubt to be 100% wrong then the usual route of the conspiracy theorists is that there is either another conspiracy theory behind the other one being proved wrong or that everyone is in on it.

Conspiracy theorists have a very strange mindset, the famous one on here is a big follower of Q and Q makes many predictions as to some event that will happen, when that event does not happen they tie themselves in knots trying to explain that it not happening was part of the plan or they just basically ignore it and move on to eagerly await the next prediction.

By the way, I know I am a pain in the butt with my stories in my life - and I get grief on here from certain people - but I do remember hitchhiking from Brazil to Paraguay and a Paraguayan lorry driver picked me up and „ adonde vas? „

“ Paraguay. „

And he ( translated ): „ don‘t go there, man. I am from there. You will get arrested. You have long hair and they will think you are a Communist. And , by the way , you know why the Americans went to the moon? To  find a way to send los negros there.“

I kid you not.

By the way- I got arrested.🙁

Conspiracy theory part two!

Dessa! How does an American such as yourself know the British slang word „ bonkers?“

I smell a rat. You are like Obama? NOT an American really?

😂
