you would also be appalled at how many people in their "right" mind premeditate an act and plan from the beginning to blame it on mental illness.  They don't come right out and say, "I plead temporary insanity."  They said they got a sign from the radio or voices in their head or were told to do it by Q.

The prosecutor will find out whether this person is actually mentally ill.  Personally, I'm skeptical.  Everything about his MO indicates that he knew what he was doing was wrong, which is why he went to some lengths to prevent his wife being able to stop him doing it and also carrying out the act in a foreign country which he may consider to be a lawless wasteland where Americans can do whatever they want and stroll back out, whistling with their hands in their pockets.  Parents kill kids all the time, usually for reasons of extreme selfishness and callousness.  But they're not all crazy.  Just evil assholes.

I will follow this story, I'm interested in what his psychological analysis finds out.  I have a feeling he'll stand trial as a sane man.

Shouldn't the headline read : "Mentally ill father murders 2 young children" ? People also do that because "God told them to". It's not the organization or religion that's responsible. It's the mentally ill person.

We would have to check his race first.  "Mentally ill" usually applies only to white people.

They're not "mentally ill", they're "eccentric".

I would have enthusiastically agreed with you on this until I watched a documentary specifically about people pretending to get be crazy in order to get away with murder.  In that series at least, all of them were white.  And the investigators really did work *very* hard to prove them sane.  They were just as insulted as you or I would be that this cold-blooded killer was trying to game the system and play them for fools.

However, where I will agree is that your average uniformed beat cop responding to a 911 call is much, much more likely to treat a suspect behaving strangely as a person who may also be in distress if they are white, and to attempt to apprehend them without the use of deadly force.

To be honest john, I  would not bother with Jeffo.

He is not going to be happy until everyone who doesn`t agree with him gets banned or removes themselves from the forum.

If the mods do not obey Jeffo, he and his gang will just start mobbing until they can get that poster to voluntary remove themselves from the forum.

Those who dare stand up to Jeffo will very soon find themselves with multiple timeouts.

John you have been warned.

Remember all those Qanutters talking about Pizzagate and adrenochrome and other imbecilic shit?

Well, it turns out a Trump Commerce official was arrested in November on child pornography charges.

Quote

A Trump Commerce Department official has been jailed since November on federal charges of receiving and possession of child pornography.

Adam Hageman, 25, is accused of “sharing a child pornography video and commenting several times on sexually abusing children” as captured in graphic messages in an online chat, according to a complaint in U.S. District Court in the District of Columbia.

A LinkedIn profile bearing the name Adam Hageman shows that the user was an advance representative at the Commerce Department beginning in May of last year, and according to the complaint investigators confirmed with the department Hageman’s date of birth, employment and residence in D.C.

At the time he became a federal employee, Hageman had been posting in the chat group for months, prosecutors allege.

According to a pretrial detention memo filed on Nov. 17, prosecutors charge that Hageman was “an active participant, often soliciting child pornography or commenting on it,” and “invited at least one other person who he knew to be interested in child pornography and bestiality to the chat.”

Always accuse the other side of those evils you are committing.

Straight from the fascist playbook.

So, of all the hateful, disgusting things conspiracy promoters have put out there in the last 10 years, Alex Jones' declaration that the mass murder of elementary school children at Sandy Hook was faked and a false flag in order to propel gun control legislation is just about the most morally bankrupt and loathsome thing ever.

Well, the judge in the case against him didn't find him compelling, either.

Quote

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has lost two lawsuits brought by family members of two victims killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, HuffPost reported. The court issued a judgment against the Infowars host because he did not produce discovery records, causing him to lose the suits by default. The rulings were issued Monday but were not made public until Thursday.

Since the 2012 school shooting, in which 20 young children and six adults were murdered, Jones has repeatedly accused Sandy Hook families of being “crisis actors,” calling the event a “giant hoax” and “false flag” operation. As a result, Jones has lost several defamation suits related to Sandy Hook. In 2019, Jones was ordered to pay tens of thousands in court costs and legal fees to parents of Sandy Hook victims in separate suits.

In the two cases decided Monday, in which he was being sued for damages, Jones had been blocking the legal discovery process by failing to provide requested documents and evidence, leading plaintiff’s lawyer Mark Bankston to tell Gamble earlier this month, “We still don’t have the most basic information about this case.”

That missing evidence included transcripts and video of his remarks about Sandy Hook as well as social media content and internal company emails.

“Now we’re talking about having to find people three years out … to see who was involved in this case, who might still have documents,” Bankston said, according to The Austin-American Statesman. “The quality of the evidence and of people’s memories all degrades.”

The attorney added that Jones also refused to answer numerous questions during a sworn deposition.

In the ruling, the judge cited Jones’s legal shenanigans as a reason for her ruling against him in this manner. “Furthermore, in considering whether lesser remedies would be effective, this Court has also considered Defendants’ general bad faith approach to litigation, Mr. Jones’ public threats, and Mr. Jones’ professed belief that these proceedings are ‘show trials’,” the court rulings said.

A jury will next decide the amount Jones will owe to the plaintiffs.

What kind of imbeciles listen to this garbage anyway? Jones is a disgusting pox on American society.

Alex Jones has been claiming this rubbish for some years now.  This is the second lawsuit he's lost and hopefully, he'll be legally stopped from continuing with it.

Didn't he try to defend one case against him by saying that his show is purely for entertainment and not factual in any way?

That people still believe what he says, well, says a whole lot about them and their ability to process information.

Just look at the 1 or 2 posters on here that listen to him and that will answer your question.

I read about him losing this case here...

https://gizmodo.com/alex-jones-loses-sandy-hook-defamation-suit-with-rare-d-1847783784

The bit that really stands out in this article is....

In other words, whatever had happened behind the scenes at InfoWars was so bad that Jones would rather take the worst possible outcome in the defamation suits than release documentation.

What will happen is he will pay his fines etc then it will be turned into a conspiracy against him by the deep state or whoever and the absolute bellends who follow him will believe him and just keep enriching him.

Conspiracy theorist networks undermine the balanced application of the law in Germany. Attila Hildmann is believed to have been leaked information on criminal charges against him by a fellow conspiracy theorist at a German public prosecutor’s office, according to reports.

Quote

A woman who worked in Berlin's public prosecutor's office is suspected of having leaked information to one of Germany’s most notorious far-right conspiracy theorists about pending criminal charges against him, according to media reports on Monday.

The Berlin public prosecutor's office confirmed to German public broadcasters ARD and NDR that a 32-year-old employee in its IT department was being investigated on suspicion of having leaked confidential information to Attila Hildmann, one of the country’s most high-profile conspiracy theorists.

Hildmann, who gained a national profile as a celebrity vegan chef before pivoting hard to right-wing extremism, conspiracy theories, and full-blown antisemitism, has been under investigation since 2020 for a number of criminal offences, including incitement to racial hatred and harassment. An arrest warrant was issued in March this year, but Hildmann, a dual German-Turkish national, had already fled to Turkey.

According to a spokesperson for the Berlin public prosecutor's office, the 32-year-old IT worker is suspected of having stolen confidential information about the criminal investigation into Hildmann, and passed it on to him. The worker, who has since been dismissed without notice, was reportedly an active member of Germany’s Querdenken (“Lateral thinker”) coronavirus conspiracy movement, of which Hildmann was a prominent leader, and is also suspected of having visited Hildmann in Turkey earlier this year.

This makes it clear that Querdenker are unable to maintain positions of trust in the community and must be terminated from their jobs at the first violation of the public trust.

The QAnon JFK Cult in Dallas Is Tearing Families Apart

Quote

Then, around the time of the 2020 presidential election, Garner’s sister started looking at some of the conspiracy theories swirling online about how former President Donald Trump lost the vote. Ultimately she found QAnon

“It took her about three months to become totally obsessed,” Garner said. “That’s all she would talk about. You could call her and somehow the conversation would turn into how we live in a world with reptilians and how the Clintons are evil baby-eaters.”

Then she found Michael Brian Protzman, known to his followers as Negative48, who is the leader of a QAnon offshoot that’s been camped out in Dallas for the last three weeks awaiting the return of John F. Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr.

Garner’s sister left her family behind and drove to Dallas about a month ago and has cut off almost all communication with her family.

According to Garner, her sister has so far handed over about $200,000 to the group, and is being forced to drink a hydrogen peroxide solution and take “bio pellets” to ward off COVID-19 and stay healthy. Her phone calls and messages are also being monitored, according to Garner, who believes her sister will never return.

“She left her children for this and doesn't even care. She is missing birthdays and holidays for this. She truly believes this is all real and we are the crazy ones for trying to get her to come home. But she won’t,” Garner said. “I don't believe she will ever come back from this. We are in mourning.”

Garner’s sister was one of the hundreds of people who initially traveled to Dallas to see JFK reappear on Nov. 2. However, when that didn’t happen, the goalposts shifted, and Protzman convinced dozens of people that if they waited long enough, something else would happen.

Katy says her sister’s brief messages to her parents have gone from “be home in a few days” to “I am not coming home, my husband can take care of the kids. I am not leaving until this is over.”

While the group initially appeared to be waiting for the reappearance of JFK,  over the weekend, the tone of Protzman’s comments shifted dramatically. Besides proclaiming that he was God’s representative on earth, he also took part in a video chat where participants openly spoke about having to experience death in order to learn the truth.

So, a big middle finger to all the reality-denying morons who thought the Jim Jones analogies about Trump were hyperbolic dramatics. These people are willing to die over this. This cult is a danger to the world. It has and will continue to kill people.
