The Golden Gate Bridge

True fact:  The strait between the San Francisco peninsula and Marin County was known as The Golden Gate from 1846, when John C. Fremont gave it that name, remarking that it would be advantageous in the foreseen trade with Asia.  Thus, when the bridge was built 90 years later, it became the Golden Gate Bridge.  It's painted International Orange, and though painting is continuous, it takes about seven years to completely cover the bridge with fresh paint.
Untrue fact: Lloyd Bridges are a pair of bridges in Wales.

President Trump: "The light bulb. People said what's with the light bulb. I said here's the story, and I looked at it. The bulb that we're being forced to use. Number one, to me, most importantly, the light's no good. I always look orange. And so do you. The light is the worst."

Okay then Einstein, how come you look orange outside in the daylight?

I have two last wishes.

#1. I want my remains scattered on a nearby mountain.

#2. I don’t want to be cremated.

Like a sky burial?  Or perhaps a plane crash?

Leaving the EU is very much like making love to a beautiful woman.

First you slip old Johnson in.

Then there’s a lot of moaning, maybe even some opposition and booing.

Then there's a whole lot of back and forth, that seems to go on forever.

Then you suddenly pull out, and leave someone else to clean up the mess.

Ah yes, I recall that one.  I also like these:

The Internet is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. The Internet encircles the world.

- Albert Einstein

Look deep into Toytown, and then you will understand everything better.
