Why are you unhappy today?

That family of five opposite us who spent 500 euros on firecrackers this week and spent the whole night as though it were a war zone. The anti-social  scum are STILL at it.

Not one of those bastards gives a shit about anyone else or their pets and won't clean the street tomorrow, either.

A special  hello to that other scum bag yesterday, opening his window, chucking firecrackers wilfully onto the pavement and quickly closing his window again.

I have a hospital appointment tomorrow morning for an eye check but I can't remember what time.

So I phoned them about six times this morning and no one answered the phone. Eventually, somrone answered around 12.15 and said " I will connect you " and thrn I got the automated answer " Sie rufen an ausserhalb der Buerozeiten " or whatever, which are 9.30-12.30.

That is a hospital!

So, basically, I will turn up there around 11 and hope for the best. I DO renember sayiny to my Nicole it was a civilised time the other week when I made the appointment.

But I cqn't find the Zettel ( did I get kne??).

The beauty of ageing!!

Luckily , it was spotted by the usual foreigners there and they are now in a safe home. Not with Takis but his buddy Giannis.

The owner deserves prison for this.

19 years. Most of even most dogs lives. The owner must be a right unfeeling bastard. I bet nithing will happen😟

But the owner should at least be fined massively. And take away his pick up. Let him learn to walk to buy his raki.

Bastard.

We oncr spotted a bunch of dogs tied ro oil barrels on Crete and not even able to hardly out their feet onto the ground. Police visited and I sat behind in yheir car ( windows blackened and they warned me not to get outvofcthe car. I heard the conversation between the police and an arsehole. " you will comecto the police station tomortow. 3 illegally imprisoned dogs. 300 euros fine for each dog."

That worked but there are hubdreds of cases a day and notcrnough manpower to stop it. Laws have tightened butcwho to enforce?

I don't know if unhappy is the right word, but I've been crying a lot so I guess it will have to do.

29 years ago today I kissed the lady who would become my wife for the very first time.
352 days ago I kissed her for the last time.

I do miss her so.

Inconsolable.

Anniversaries of my parents' demises' just coming up.

I often dream of them and my late siblings. Vivid dreams, not often easy - but I'm always happy to see them again. Yes: I always do realize that they are gone.

Embrace those dreams. She'll always be there with you. And your children.

I've had dreams of deceased parents, relatives, friends.

Usually in a spiritual context (telling them it was time to move on), but when in times I was unhappy or very sick, they would briefly check in, let me know they were OK, or even be encouraging.  Ahem *quick wipe*.

Virtual hugs, Pappnase👍👍

Your wife is waiting for you.

Hopefully for a long time - They've got children who still need and love him!

Think before you post.

People talk about the environment and how big companies are destroying the world. Well, yeah. But don't we all have some role to play? At a micro level show some interest?

I was walking one of the dogs yesterday morning and I passed a woman carrying a plastic bag. She opened the door to her building and just flung the bag onto the pavement and moved into her building.

Nice one, lady.

Pick it up, enter the building (just ring any doorbell - or several) and shout "Hey, lady! You've lost something! I'll leave it at the mailboxes!"
