Favourite German words

Newest favorite: "Impfstoff." Can you really inject the stuff of a "little devil" into yourself?

Also, mildly amused that "brennen" and "trennen" rhyme. You burn for someone, you break up...I'm certain this combo has been used in many a teenage poetry diary entry.

I like Hochstapler (we use it in Czech too, but in more kind of lower life kind of sence). I love to use it on every suspicious being I meet.

I don´t have many German friends... I wonder why...

I find it quite humorous when German women and children find something disgusting and/or gross, they exclaim, "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!". Guess the english translation would be, "ewww".

I like the "eeeeeeeeee" noise too! Heathen, you describe the North American noise, "ewww!" The English noise would be "Errrr!"

My favourite German word, or words, are Schlact Schlampe - battle slut - a term used to describe the drunk and out-of-control British girls on a Saturday night in any given town.
