Indoor rock-climbing halls in Munich

36 posts in this topic

Well, it's the best you're gonna get in Munich...

if it comes down to that, i prefer Buildering. it's also free, and no risk of cubic meters of dirt and trees falling on you. (iBuchenhain has deterioriated greatly in the last few years and was closed due to mudslide during the flooding last year.)

I hope to meet some of you this coming tuesday in Thalli

i must admit, i've done a lot of looking, but not much climbing.

Anyone interested in getting arrested er... i mean collecting material for a web page?

we could discuss the issue tomorrow evening in TK?

Hello, I see that this thread has been inactive for awhile...

I started with indoors climbing about a month ago and love it!

I would like to meet other people to go twice a week.

So far, I have been only to High-East which I like, but it's a bit

far. If anyone here is still going to TK and don't mind a beginner

eager to improve on the side, please let me know.

Cheers,

Sandra

Tuesday night is when a lot of the ex-pats go down to the kletterhalle, generally arriving from about 7pm onwards...

Hi all! Nice to meet you here :-)

Does somebody knows where is the right pace in Munich to try indoor climbing...and does somebody wants to join me in this activity?

Regards

Ksenia

Thanks all for comments.

Ivo: would like to join you on Saturday, but still need to buy me more equipment.

To tell the truth my experience on climbing is really low, is it possible to take some training in Thalkirchen?

Regards

Ksenia

For those interested in a gym and rock climbing, we were very happy when we took the tour of our gym and found a bouldering section! Free, as part of the gym membership. So, we can do our regular workouts AND get some climbing practice to keep us going during the winter.

Made for a great deal when you think of all the memberships and fees that add up when trying to keep multiple activities going.

Our gym is an onsite/work gym, so it's not open to the public, but it's not owned by the company. Sorry, I dont know the gym name, but I do know they have other locations which likely have similar set-ups. When I go tomorrow, I'll find out their name and post it.

Just another option for people...
