Waterparks in or near Frankfurt

14 posts in this topic

I need to find out if there is a water park in or near Frankfurt, I need to bring the kids there this weekend if possible (kids AKA me). I thought there was maybe one Hannau but my searching is turing up nothing.

mfg,

[maybe this or this would be good for me the kids]

Actually I'm really looking for fun things to do in Fraunkfurt.

water park in or near Frankfurt

How do you get Erding Therma from "Near Frankfurt"?

The nearest Spa place near Frankfurt is in Bad Homburg.

Other than that you have the huge pool and water slide at the pool/park

in Höchst. Look Here For more locations and info.

Yes the nearest Therme is Taunus Therme in Bad Homburg. I personally think it is not really a place for children though the Freidbad next door (Seemdampfbad I think it is called) is much more suitable and better priced for children. (I think Taunus Therme is 20€ for 2 hours)

I would go for any of the Freibads in the link above as well.

I was actually recommended the Freibad in Bensheim. It is called Basinus Bad and has a nice outdoor area plus indoor pool with slide.

Do you mean a Thermenbad like in Erding?

How do you get Erding Therma from "Near Frankfurt"?

I think she meant (I think) like in Munich, as in a comparison of a place.

Thanks for the suggestions ! Still looking for fun ideas of things to do. Anyhow the weather is looking a bit pooy for the weekend.

Here is a link to google maps which shows the Indoor pool (With Slide) I always went to. Even if the weather outside is crap, you can still swim inside.

Hi

My kids are 3 and 4 and I take them to the Nordwest centrum swimming pool I think that is called thermabad there, it's not expensive and my kids love it. and the slides not to bad either... :-)

Get the U1 to Nordwest centrum I think, anyone correct me if I am wrong.

If you're looking for a sauna, Taunus is better than Titus as Taunus actually has a 100°C Aufguss sauna, the ones where the water goes on the coals. Most other places only have 90°C, but this one is very popular with local Scandinavians.

Titus is probably better for kids due to the slide and water features.
