Ahh younger days.

Although it looks like Van the Man has turned into a bit of a conspiracy nutter too. Oh well still great tunes.

Listening to John Grisham's The Firm - golden oldie - bit long at 19 hours but a great story - almost done. I got into audio books after wanted something different than podcasts for a long trip

OK, this is a fairly priceless bizarre cover version of the Sex Pistols legendary Never Mind The Bollocks. I've just copied the story lock stock & barrel!

****************

Back in 1977 a disco label in Spain wanted to license "Never Mind The Bollocks", but Virgin wanted too much money. The 'solution'? Get the nearest covers band, and get them to learn the whole album and then record it. Only thing was, the singer didn't speak English, so he learned the whole thing phonetically. And the results are...well...link below...

****************

It's the whole album, individual listings on YouTube. If nothing else check out the singles (Holidays in the Sun, God Save The Queen, Anarchy in the UK, Pretty Vacant) :D - hola!
