Police in Upper Franconia are investigating a 48-year-old man for dangerous interference with road traffic. Apparently, the man was riding in the passenger seat of an Audi A4 and was unhappy with his son's (the driver's) fast driving, so he pulled the hand brake at 100 km/h. The car then veered off the road on to a field, where it rolled over several times before coming to a stop on its roof.

The best part: The father suffered severe injuries because he wasn't wearing his seat belt. His son, who was wearing his seat belt, escaped the accident with just minor cuts.

Nuts! But isn't it the driver's duty to make sure passengers are wearing their seat belts? I hope the son doesn't get charged.

More odd news, guaranteed Corona free.

Should have listened as they told him about his seat belts (see above) !!

Poor bugger - at least he survived to tell the tale...

A surprise outing in a fighter jet unnerved one defence company executive so much he accidentally ejected himself while flying at over 500km/h (320mph), an investigation into the debacle in France has found.

The 64-year-old civilian got the most unwelcome ride of his life
after the force of the take-off made him “float” off his seat,
causing him to stand up and involuntarily grab the ejection handle to steady himself.

The pilot prevented himself being automatically ejected too
and was able to land the plane on the runway despite
the involuntary departure of his passenger and the loss of the cockpit canopy.

Judicial and defence investigations into the demonstration flight were continuing.

That is funny as fuck!

I guess the ground crew were in for a bollocking for not tightening his straps enough.

I bet before he knew what was happening he was under the canopy and thinking holy shit!

I wonder if it was his colleagues who took the photos.  They must have been laughing like drains!

Great story.

"Man makes money buying his own pizza on DoorDash app"

Quote

The owner of a pizza restaurant in the US has discovered the DoorDash delivery app has been selling his food cheaper than he does - while still paying him full price for orders.

A pizza for which he charged $24 (£20) was being advertised for $16 on DoorDash - and when he secretly ordered it himself, the app paid his restaurant the full $24 while charging him $16.

...

At that point , he discovered he had been added to DoorDash - and noticed it was charging a lower price for one of his premium pizzas.

So he ordered 10 pizzas, paid $160 and had them delivered to a friend's house.

The restaurant was then paid $240 for the order by DoorDash.
