I've sent you a PM

I noticed in the adverts-section, there are a lot of people who post "PM'ed you", or "I just sent you a PM" or anything like that. Why?? When someone is PM'ed, it is a hell of a lot clearer by a popup that they received a message than going back into the thread and see if someone posted that they sent a message...

I like to phone people and say "I've just sent you an email." I find they really appreciate it.

that is soooooooo good. love it! hardest chuckle I've had all day.

Well just to answer the old question. You can disable the pop up option so when you recieve a PM it only shows in the top right hand corner. The bad thing about this is that unless you are use to checking your message board everyday you might not realize you have a PM. I actually use to miss PMs for three or four days becaause of this. So I went back to the pop up.

Also sometimes I am not sure if I sent a pm because I deactivated the save sent pm option so instead of smothering with them with pms I will say "sent you a pm". Which I guess is the samething.

Anyway sent you a pm to explain this.

Captain Obvious can't be there every time he's needed, can he?

Just like his brother, Captain Purplehelmet.
