international cycling groups with regular organized tours around Munich?
ChatGPT
As of my last update in September 2021, I don't have access to real-time data or current events. However, I can provide you with some information about international cycling groups that have historically organized tours around Munich. Please note that the availability and details of these groups might have changed since then, so I recommend checking online resources, cycling forums, or social media platforms for the most up-to-date information. Here are a few groups to consider:

Munich International Cycling Club (MICC): This is a diverse group of cyclists in Munich that organize regular rides catering to various skill levels. They often have international members and conduct rides in and around Munich.

Meetup.com: Check the cycling groups on Meetup.com for Munich. You might find international cycling groups that arrange regular tours. These groups are typically open to a mix of locals and expatriates.

Strava Groups: Strava is a popular fitness app used by cyclists to track their rides and connect with others. Some Strava groups might be dedicated to organizing group rides in Munich.

Local Bike Shops: Sometimes, local bike shops are aware of cycling groups that organize regular rides. They might have information about both local and international groups.

Online Cycling Forums: Websites like Reddit or specialized cycling forums might have discussions about cycling groups in Munich.

Cycling Associations: Look into local and international cycling associations that might have chapters or groups in Munich. These associations often organize rides and events.

Social Media: Platforms like Facebook might have cycling groups or pages specifically for Munich cyclists. Search for keywords like "Munich cycling group" or "cycling tours Munich" to find relevant pages.

When researching these groups, be sure to consider factors such as the skill level required, the type of rides offered (road, mountain, leisure, etc.), and any membership fees or requirements. Always prioritize safety during group rides and adhere to local traffic rules and regulations.

No offense, but chatgpt is nobody's friend. It is at best unreliable, at all times a threat to intellectual (and other) property, at worst another step along the way of our complete abdication of personal responsibility for anything and everything. When did laziness become a virtue?

It is wonderfully badly written, vague to the point of being useless and also makes stuff up (which is at least funny).

There are parts of it that might be false, might be true, might be anything. Look at each suggestion. You might notice something.

It also suggests checking social media platforms, which technically Toytown still is, and that's what OP was doing in the first place.

@skinny...that's what you said when the internet came along. "Why not just go the library and look things up? People are going to get lazy."

@silty...everything Might be true or false. Hardly profound. I guess the question is: of the people who wrote on this topic, who actually tried to help the OP?

It goes to its non-answers, there is nothing concrete or definite, might have... might be... A list of possible places to keep looking is all it is.

@catjones: I don't know where you came up with that idea (perhaps chatgpt), but it's dead wrong. I was an early internet adopter. I just happen to use it very critically, as I would any tool.
And, by the way, people HAVE gotten lazy, or lazier.

I don't know about lazier, just using the path of least resistance. Is that such a bad thing? When I was working I used to struggle with having to do translations on the fly from German to English. It was horrible at first, using leo and hoping the result wasn't the opposite of what I meant, or just phoning up my wife and asking her wtf Schroeder is actually trying to say here, etc. My colleagues had the same problem - fluent German, but their English was crapola. Then along came deepl.com and blew everything out of the water. From then on I was copying blocks of German into the box and just editing the English that instantly appeared in the one beside it. It's not perfect, but gets the job done better and faster and leaves more time for other stuff. I'm sure there are even better AI translators out there now, and if they are good enough for your needs, why not use them?
