What´s the daft devil done now?!
(I do feel sorry for Nicole, having to take care of him!)

"a bit incapacitated" - what the hell is that meant to mean???!!!

Whatever.
John, get well again soon, and get back here ASAP or there might be nothing to get back to! :-)

Yay! I think I disabled javascript for Edge with this website: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/devtools-guide-chromium/javascript/disable
I am definitely not a tech person, but the above Microsoft website wasn't too difficult to understand for me.
I enjoy your stories, etc., john g. Hope you'll be back posting soon.

In the meantime, until John sorts his TT access, he asked me to post this on his behalf…a real ‘gem of a John story…!’

‘Robinson made me smile " what does incapitated mean?" [spelling later corrected by me]

It is an adjective used to described 71 year olds who have just had a meet up with 2 eighty year olds and we shared stories of eye illnesses, their then 8 year old kicking me in the balls at a dance in Indonesia in 1986 ( but has since matured ) and we also shared stories of a fellow English teacher , Shaun, who fell into a canal full of human faeces outside my house way back then whilst holding up his lesson plan! Poor sod also got mugged and bashed on the back of his head and his shoes stolen while he lay unconscious? The following early morning, my then wife and I were woken up by the shouts of a local " salesman " .. " shoes for sale."
Large foreigner's shoes! Shaun was a 6 footer!😂‘

I have been very unsure and very reluctant to mess about with javascript but I think I have at last managed to deactivate javascript for this website. Have I really?

Edit: Wow, I have. Just Wow! I'm back.

John, If I have managed it at my ripe old age (76 and a half), so can you, damn it.

Nice to be back, @emkay. Been reading along, but too cowardly to mess about with the settings. Was bloody easy in the end, though.

Nice to hear from John and Bramble and the others, who have been able to access TT again. I had to deactivate JavaScript again to post, but it works. Nice to hear a "John story." Hope poor Shaun survived Indonesia!

Blimey, I'm through! Thought about john.g today as there is news about his Southend team. Fans want the owner to sell.

John asked me to post this for him.

He's in Hamburg undergoing another important procedure, so too busy to fight with JavaScript settings. H did however joke about a Greek doctor working at the clinic! Will send him best wishes from the TTers.

John also is concerned about a fire very close to Takis, his favorite animal recue on Crete!
In this clip, it looks like a brush fire:
