Das Straßenbahnmuseum liegt direkt an einem der Zugänge zum Gelände des Cannstatter Wasens auf dem das Frühlingsfest stattfindet. Aufgrund der erschwerten Bedingungen bleibt die Ausstellung während des Frühlingsfestes (23.04. bis 13.05.2023*) geschlossen. Der historische Fahrbetrieb auf der Oldtimerlinie 23 ruht ebenfalls.
*Am 14.05.2023, dem letzten Tag des Frühlingsfestes, ist das Museum geöffnet und die Oldtimerlinie 23 verkehrt nach Fahrplan. Anlässlich des Muttertags haben Mütter/Frauen an dem 14.05. freien Eintritt!
