problem of car being scratch at car park , very deep and long.. multiple times.

I need to ask if anybody have any soln to car being scatched .
I park my car at a nearby farm car park which the owner allowed us to park.. it is a shared park place for the employee of the golf club at neuss.
sometime i park beside the road.. when there is no place along the road, i will have to park at the farm carpark. 
the problem is, i have no idea whether my car also being scratched while park along the road (nearer to my apartment) .. but i sure know for 100% sure that my car was being scratched multiple times. .deep and long when parked at the farm carpark nearby.

 

the day before yesterday. i noticed 2 new long scratches at front and back. yesterday morning i noticed 2 more deep scratches beside the car.. still fresh.. the burr from the paint still visible..

what can i do ? there is no way to install surveillant camera there. it is a farm car park .. there are trees there.. not electricity, not beside my dwelling place... and i have no place to park car beside my apartment...

My car has being scratched so far.. over 10 deep scars... i am pissed, but i don't know why and who did that.

Any idea what should i do ? i heard report to police do nothing.. german police do nothing..

Pls advice.. If i cont to not do anything , by the end of this year, my car would be horrible..

Don't park at the trouble place. Get the scratch smart-repaired. If you have vollkasko then insurance can share the costs

Install good quality dashcam with parkmode feature. It will record if someone scratches the car next time.

Did you had some altercations with the neighbours there? Did you tried to ask the people around the parking spot if they saw something?

I hav just reported twice within 2 week period.. being scratched twice and back wiper being twisted down like dog tail.

What can police do but paperwork.

When things like this happen round here, it gets in the local paper.  So, people are on the look out for such stuff, which can be a deterrent.   Mind you, I think you really do need to find somewhere better to park.   It is just your car it is happening to?

I did report police of a young lady who were with 2 boys play loud music, tall loudly, making noises even until 2am .. ring the door bell, but no use.. police came also no use, they just didnt open door.. couldbe on drug , could be dont giv a damn, or simply too loud rhat door bell sound being subpressed. At the end the police went to the street to shine laser or some strong light beam into the window of the loud maker, only then police manage to get their attention, open door and turn down music. The young lady was still acted politely upon seeing us.. the 2 males was once splashed coke or some sticky juice onto our door and window(few days after that incident, but was warned by the landlord and never did that again) as for car.. i wasnt sure anymore.. in my memory, i hav got 2 ling scratches in front after a short time fr that incident..  but all those has being well over 1.5 yrs.. until recently i got many scratches span several month.. now is several scratches within 1 month. My car has got over a dozen of deep scrarches already by now.. still there. The person or persons who did rhat was still at large.

i hav no where to park near by.  Especially when i need to haul shopping item every few days.. it is a long heavy walk to my apartment.

U were suggesting dashcam with parkmode feature... any recommendation? I just went to saturn 2 weeks ago, they did not carry anythinf that is usable.. only garmin dashcam.. which is useless, as my scratches where all 4 sides, mainly rear sides that got most scored..

So far that i know, ya, only my car..i want to to install survailance cam to catch the person who did that, because this car paint job is totally ruin.. super obvious.. dont know will rust or not over the time... i wont do any repair until the person who did that were accounted with.. until then no point repair.

When they know about it they may at least have an officer pass by and keep a look out for possible offenders but you can hardly expect them to mount a 24 hour surveillance operation for such a minor crime probably committed by kids who may well be under age for prosecution anyway or a neighbour harbouring a grudge! Beyond what advice has already been given here I'm not sure what you expect.

I really wanted to install cam to catch the taeter.. but no idea how... bcos on board dashcam only capture front, and it is visible fr outside, might even cause glass break. I also tried using smart phone fr middle of car (hiding in a box), bit the field of view just npt enough to record the whole person.. useless.. hence the cam hav to be installed outside in the thorny bushes behind my car or on tree opposite of my car... sigh.. no idea what to do.

One of the problems with some dashcam is it can be illegal to film people who get close to your car.   So, it might be useful in finding out who is doing the scratching (perhaps you know them?), you can get into trouble when you go to the police with the recording.

First I am sorry for you, this is a shitty situation.

 

You need to understand, that it is not generally allowed to use a surveillance cam in Germany. Generally recording random people in outside situations is just not allowed.

As other have suggested, park your car further away, only park close to where you live when moving something heavy, then move your car away. Maybe try to rent a garage close to where you live.

You can use a dash cam, if its just pointed in your private area, but you are not allowed to film on the street without, clear signs that you are doing it, and and any film you will probably not be accepted by the police.

So when you get a poor quality illegal photo of some yob in a hoody, what are you going to do about it? Even if it is someone you recognise you still have no legal proof! A cam buys you nothing.

Maybe, tjhe yob, forgets to put the hoody on, than at least you might know who is doing this, but agreed, it seems unlikly that anything can be don about this.

 

The OP, says he can park the car at the farm, if this is private ;land and the OP get permission to record films there, then a dash cam can be used by the police as its private land, but not on a public street without warnings
