Posted 17 January so, last year my husband and I watched the Super Bowl on Pro7, because that seemed the only option we could get to work. It worked, kinda, but we didn't care too much for the (lousy, in my opinion) German commentators. And also, we didn't get to see the original ads. (OK, that's not that critical, but still). Now this year we come better prepared! We bought the NFL GamePass, and we'll watch it live on our Fire-TV stick hooked up to the big TV. Yeah! There will be chili in the crockpot, and everything else that goes with Super Bowl Sunday. Only challenge could be being up and awake around midnight on a Sunday night/Monday morning. Boss will have to do without us on that Monday. What are you guys doing? If you do anything, that is.
Posted 18 January fyi I find with the Amazon Fire (box not stick) that I have to use sometimes, it helps the Game Pass stream quality to start the stream, pause for a few seconds or even to go back one "notch," then resume. The poor resolution then quickly clears up. YMMV.
Posted 18 January If anyone wants to watch it with the American commentary for free and legally just take out the month's free trial with DAZN | HOME as they show a version with German commentary and a version with English commentary. Then just cancel.

Posted 18 January Just saw this - Quote The Super Bowl is easy to watch in the UK, as it's airing on BBC One, so you can use your TV or iPlayer to follow along. Well, it's easy as long as you're okay with the 11:30 pm UK kickoff time, which means the game will undoubtedly be continuing into the early hours. One issue is that, since BBC doesn't air adverts, watching it this way will mean you don't get to watch the famous Super Bowl ads that many people tune in for. For anyone who may have access to it.

Choppy image, a bit tricky to get connected. Not worth the trouble. Which is why we invested 44,99 € this year and got the game pass.

Posted 19 January I watch golf every weekend on ESPN+ with a VPN. Crystal clear picture. Works fine. I also use one for Hulu, Peacock, US Netflix, etc. 42 minutes ago, keith2011 said: Sleeping pills are cheaper. Applies here, I think, for most people. I'll miss the Super Bowl this year. I'll be watching the Phoenix Open, also in Arizona, until late.

Posted 19 January playoffs + superbowl is 18.99€ right now. there were probably "rest of the season" deals a few months ago.

The pass is valid through July 31st, so the later you buy, the cheaper it gets. If you are only interested in the Super Bowl, you have to actively cancel the subscription before July 31st (and then re-subscribe next time, somewhere in January again)

I've seen "mobile only" game passes, or 50 days, or remaining season..., some with the option to watch any game again later (in case you missed it) I just picked the one wich had all the features that I wanted at the time.
Posted 19 January I wasn't thinking about your choice, Karin. Just putting it out there for others. Enjoy!
