how to print my British Airways ticket

I change seats without asking after the last person gets on. Have done for years. Get a whole row quite often if not a full flight.

When I have the whole row to myself, I feel inclined to just lie down and put on my bad ass house shoes. Do you have the same feeling?

Step 1 complete. Did the  advance passanger info today. I will follow LeonGs advice and get my ticket printed before going to the airport.

If that does not work , then I can always get another one at the airport.

I booked my return ticket recently. I went with EasyJet this time and did it all in a few minutes. From booking the flight to printing the ticket took less than 15 minutes . Why can`t all airlines offer this? Why insisit on checking in inside 24 hours of departure.  If things go wrong , there is not much time to fix them. E.g. my computer screen died a few months ago and it took well over 24 hours to get a a new one fitted.

What if this had happened at just the wrong moment?

You would still have the option to get your boarding pass from the machine or check-in desk at the airport, wouldn't you?

But not necessarily for free.

eg Ryanair wanted 40 euros last time I went with them (very last time too!!)

Some airlines do this so that they can offer you to check in early for an extra charge.

Its curious that with Lufthansa the earliest you can check in online is 23 hours before departure whilst with Eurowings (part of LH group) its 3 days.

It is curious indeed. What is wrong with an industry wide standard?

Anyhow , I am pleased to tell you all that I ckecked in OK  and printed my boarding pass off. But I had to take a screen shot  and do it that way as it was not obvious how to save it in a PDF form. It should do.

Well played @colincostello

You're not the only dinosaur that still roams the Earth and you've been supported by some most excellent step-by-step advice on this thread. Next time it will be second nature. And you'll get wid the kidz. Whatever that fucking means.

Safe journey back to Blighty.

I agree  that I have been given excellent support from Toytowners  e.g Panda Munich. I will never let them take her back to China.

Maybe its like with icelandic ponies - once they have left the country they are never let back in.
