Tollwood Winterfestival - your opinion

After a few years break we can go visiting the Tollwood Winterfestival again. Have you been there?

I was there yesterday. It was busy! Similar stands like before. Nice arty thingies.  Paid €4,50 for a Glühwein. They had real poffertjes from the Netherlands, so that made my day.

Yeah, professional at work. At Tollwood the lady used two long thin wooden cocktail prickers??? Quite clumsy actually and slow too. I said: “Sie machen das sehr ungeschickt. Wird aber trotzdem schmecken.” Sie smiled a bit, but didn’t comment, haha. 
 

BTW- They have several stands in Qatar too where they sell this. It’s a big hit.

So after watching that I am still none the wiser as to what they are, looks real good but what are they made of?

Mini pancakes served with small pieces of butter and powdered sugar.

Yorkshire pudding served sweet. Pancake mixture.

Had a great African deer goulash and an excellent Thai starter on a stick. Also great hot chocolate, all at different stalls inside a tent so warmer than standing outside eating. I go at least once a year since it started. 

I can also recommend the summer Tollwood, nearer for me as I can walk home.
