let's see if it works :)

Sorry, with my busy status as Sekrit Admin, I don't have time to respond to pings right away.

I never get a thank you for holding doors open in Germany, but I just can't not do it cos I'm too bloody English. And I'm also too English to say anything about it.

Hahaha... try it Lithuania 😁

I gave up giving my seat on buses very early on as the best you can hope for there is a hard stare and the elderly will stand or find a different seat 🤣

I was on a bus today. The problem wasn't rudeness- in fact, someone encouraged me to take a seat. I don't know if it is only me.. but many of the passengers were, erm, how can I put it? Erm, " wide " and the seats were " narrow."

So I had to sit sideways...

That is some next level BS!

They made you sit uncomfortably.

Not bad. Not bad.

No, some people take up more space than others..they do! We all come in different shapes and sizes..some are XL!😂

Same on planes.

And the seats are designed to maximize the number of passengers ( not forgetting their bags, rucksacks, shopping etc ).

And then there is manspreading. I couldn't sit on the Ubahn the other day because of 2 manspreaders. They weren't large but took up 3 seats each. If I had been going more than 2 stops, I would have said something as I have done before.

Hmm.  A lot of people put bags and such on seats around them.  And hey, perhaps they have huge testicles.

Totally agree. No gender issue here! One issue is size, the other is when , for example, some people leave their bags on the seat next to them and don't automaticallly remove them when another passenger turns up.

So what do you say to them?  Are your balls really so big you have to sit like that?  How do they usually respond?  I'm just curious because I haven't noticed guys spreading across 3 seats on our RB here in Salzgitter.  I see a lot of people taking an extra seat for their bags though but they do move them if you ask.

I find the expression almost as annoying as mansplaining.  Sure, people and men perhaps particularly, though I am not sure, can be patronising.   Reason back, if you can be bothered.  Or just tell them to get fucked. Whatever.

More and more people do stand up when I get on a bus. First reason, an absolutely gorgeous 70 year old man is arriving on the scene. ( but the real reason is my cute minute dog Mandy, She turns heads!😂 )

And people here in general are more dog- friendly than in Greece.

Good! Better than " hey, fatso, Get out of the way."

Or as my Mother would say, "you are as old as you feel"...

😂

I used to rescue damsels from castles! But the insurance companies complained!😂

Mind you, German insurance  companiescomplained! Haftung and stuff! " When you rescued the lady in distress, did you check if the rope was insured? "The Greeks weren't worried- the clients hadn't paid the premiums! 😂
