Posted 13 Jun 2022 I need to purchase motor oil filter, diesel fuel filter, and a 6 liter of 5w-30 C2 or C3 of full synthetic oil for car oil change. Any idea where is the good place to purchase ? I have forgotten where i purchased last time. I don't like the idea to purchase motor oil from store that overstock and does not sell out before "expiry date" of the motor oil. Any good reputable store where oil stock constantly renewed ? Thanks
Posted 13 Jun 2022 You don't have an auto parts store in your city? Petrol station? Places that probably sell motor oil?

Posted 14 Jun 2022 Found this on the interwebby. Expiry Date Most conventional oil brands will have a shelf life of about 5 years. Synthetic oil and synthetic blend oil will last about 7-8 years, and maybe even longer. I'm bored... obviously.
Posted 14 Jun 2022 I buy the 2-stroke oil I need for the auxillary engine in my sailplane from Amazon.
Posted 14 Jun 2022 Amazon sells their own oil for cheap. Make sure you get the right one for your car. They have different blends. Otherwise, daparto.de will compare and give you the best price. Locally, you can just go to ATU.
Posted 14 Jun 2022 The 2-stroke oil I bought via Amazon was from Castrol. I'm not going to put any un-approved stuff through my engine! Price was almost 2/3rds of that in shops - if it could be found there.
Posted 18 Jun 2022 You can buy all brands of motor oil on the Internet, but do you do with the used oil?

You can also take your used fluids to hazardous waste recycling center.

Hmm, I wonder if it would help if you showed them this: About the Disposal of Waste Engine Oil - Amazon Customer Service and possibly also complained to Amazon about ATU's refusal to accept old oil with proof of Amazon purchase.
Posted 6 Jul 2022 I order Liqui Moly and filters from Amazon. It's around 20€ cheaper per 5L jug than the auto parts store. Used oil is collected at the Schadstoff center for 1€/L. There are also mobil collection trucks that come around in Stuttgart pn a schedule. That's good to know about ATU. I'll see if there's one nearby.
Posted 10 Jul 2022 Sometimes you can buy it in supermarkets such as Rewe or Kaufland. We also got motor oil from ATU. They have stores all over Germany and you can also order online.
