If they cannot find someone to host them privately, they would have to stay in "Gemeinschaftsunterkunften", i.e. in mass asylum seeker accommodation, which are still housing part of the 2015 influx of single Arabic/North African/African/Afghan/Pakistani men, at least until special mass housing just for women and children is again created, just like was tried to do last time: https://www-paritaet--bayern-de.translate.goog/nc/spenden-und-mitmachen/details/news/fluechtlingsunterkunft-fuer-frauen/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp
Please see here for the experience a Russian journalist and her daughter had in such mass housing, i.e. why it is absolutely necessary to create separate housing just for women and children: https://www-welt-de.translate.goog/politik/deutschland/article151345901/Frauen-gelten-nichts-Werden-wie-Hunde-behandelt.html?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp
The Ukrainian refugees will for the start only get payments according to the Asylbewerber status, so it will be less than Hartz IV, please see here for the difference in €: https://m-maz--online-de.translate.goog/Lokales/Havelland/Mehr-als-Hartz-IV-Was-Fluechtlinge-vom-Staat-bekommen?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp
That Tagesschau article doesn't say whether - like with asylum seekers, once their case is processed - they will later on be entitled to the higher Hartz IV rates, but I expect this will be the case.
