I just called the restaurant to extend the booking, it sounded really busy, good sign!

We've had some suggestions of names for future weeks:

Saturday beergardeners - old name, proprietors find it long (yesterday we were booked as just Saturday!). Could shorten to SBG.

Restaurant addicts - shorter, maybe easier.

Restaurant junkies, similar to last one

DJ standing for Dinner Junkies - probably best so far.

BGJ BeerGarden Junkies - similar to last, maybe a bit more unique.

Sensible suggestions welcome and votes for different names.

How about something really simple, like English BeerGarden? I kinda like it contains the English Garden...

It was excellent! Great food. Only downside, it was a bit noisy with all the people packed in and trying to get done until 10 o'clock (mandatory restaurant closing time in Bavaria, sigh).

The menu looked great and I wanted to join, but it was a little expensive for me at this time of year. Hope to join a future meetup.

Keko food was great, but needs some sound absorbing panels or soft furnishings (curtains or whatever). I've seen the panels in the UK in some pubs and they make an amazing difference. Simple panels coated with hessian and some soft material underneath like cotton wool. Usually put on the ceiling, but could be used as partitions in Covid times.

I think I'll do what we do for curry nights and just book under the name Toytown.

We can use whatever name we want between us, but Toytown is relatively well known by proprietors.

All the people packed in... You really couldn't make it up!
