Thank you. I am vaccinated and I proved it to my work. I asked my doctor and they said they can’t provide notes after a certain date. I am waiting to hear from my doctor if I am within that certain date. I called the Gesundheitsamt and they gave me another email address to get proof of quarantine and that can be used by my employer to get money back from the government. I’ll wait to hear from my doctor first. It’s extremely unfair if I can’t get paid being that I am vaccinated and I was required to stay home. 
 

Edit: I’m in Probezeit for this job (part time). I don’t want to make waves.

Much to my surprise that is the first post of yours that I largely agree with at least in respect to the current vaccines and vaccination status in most countries around the world.

Vaccination is however still worthwhile whether you believe it offers some protection against infection and serious illness or not, it will undeniably get you into a restaurant etc.

Imagine being so tragic that you're getting vaccinated just to go to a restaurant.

In those years I was called "crazy" for suggesting that one should not put people in concentration camps merely for crossing the border without papers. These people are treated automatically as potential criminals and get locked. 

 

You were silent on this. And now you complain that you are not allowed into restaurants. But you supported this system for decades. You wanted the government to "make it safe for you". And when the government does exactly what it was supposed to do for decades, you now complain.

if "everyone" says quarantine papers are enough to get paid for "lost time", then "everyone" has to refer back to the information provided about a change to that regulation, effective November 1st 2021, stating that quarantine papers are not enough anymore for the unvaccinated. Unvaccinated people now have to be actually sick to receive sick pay.

Being able to lead a normal life should not be a perk. It's a right that has been slowly removed by governments who certainly in the UK at least,  have given themselves more power than they ought to have.  In the US,  at least the supreme Court has rolled back some of the changes they deemed their idiot president did not have the right to make.

Considering you are the one claiming to understand better than everyone else, how difficult can be to understand that the problem we are discussing is not related to vaccination status.  At my work, like it seems it is happening in several other places they are requesting sick leave and saying the quarantine paper is not enough even when you are vaccinated.   And the government (Gesundamt) says the quarantine paper is enough.

 

Read again:  VACCINATION STATUS IS IRRELEVANT TO THE ISSUE.

 

Possible misunderstanding the employers are having:  They think because the different paperwork they would have to file for the unvaccinated ones they believe they have to request MC slip for everyone.  But I think they are wrong.   I might know more about this next week.
