This is why I like living beside a graveyard, no noise from the neighbours :D

And it´s the dead center of town.

I'd like to thank the screenshot fairy who inboxed me this over the weekend...

Imagine asking for something you think has been lost to a removed thread and then it turns up..

sheep.JPG.edfa6f64f8f470e3ff4920125b547d

Oh well.  Perhaps I was wrong again.  Glad you put me right.  I'm getting forgetful in my old age and I'm surprised I spelled in to incorrectly.  I'm really surprised I would make that mistake. It's almost like that post was doctored... but it could be my mind playing tricks again.

But thanks for posting.  I didn't realise people were hanging on my every word so much that they take screenshots of what I write.  Makes me feel very important.

Maybe you should get a life Mr Cb6dba. Scrambling about Toytown and looking up the archives to find a throwaway line from someone ? That's tragic.  You should get out to Realtown some more. Get some friends and lighten up.

It's also a bit sinister that someone is taking screenshots like that. Or is that just me ?

When did Toytown become so serious ?

Says a snowflake who is afraid of a needle.

Realtown in Bavaria requires COVID-19 vaccination. You as an antivaxxer are afraid and sit at home. You really shouldn't have put this string.

Well that went as expected.

TLDR - man caught out embarrassingly tries to make the topic about someone else while saying someone goes though removed threads, while also trying to say TT is somehow strange for being a platform for pointing out his lies and as he can't be taken seriously now, plays the "I didn't know people took me seriously" line. And yes, you were wrong, again.

Funniest thing I've read all week.

I know that left wingers / anti globalisation has been corrected in the title and this is a late post but...

Oh the irony. In the 30s the International brigade was set up by Communists to fight against the fascists in the Spanish civil war...!!!

There is a small memorial plaque on the Uni Washington Seattle campus to those who tried to stop fascism by volunteering in spain against the fascists. And not all were stalinists, Orwell was a socialist, Hemingway, a Floridian, if anything.

That said, MM sees left wingers and their conspiracies under his toaster in the morning.

Back then everyone was a socialist in Europe, as there were not a lot of role models. Failing monarchies and Nazism. What was the alternative?

Intellectuals in the West thought that a famine in Ukraine was a propaganda lie. The government confiscated all the wheat from people and let them die of hunger... And all of that to buy more gold and fund industry in the USSR.

Nowadays we know the truth about those socialist experiments on people. Whoever believes in Communism nowadays is an idiot, just like antivaxxers.

Irrelevant pedantic question to the informed out there -

Is that an English word?

'Inboxed'

Or is it on a par with 'downgeloaded' etc?

I was invited to 'inbox' someone last year, and had to ask what she (German) thought that was, having been introduced to 'unboxing' by Youtube I wondered if it was an opposite type of thing, but not really an actual word.

Now I wonder.

Unfortunately, fake news has been around since the beginning of time.

This kind of statement is often used for propaganda purposes to undermine western democracies.

Let's remind ourselves that democracy is the worst political system ever, except all the others.

I really wish I knew what you were getting at here.

Give me an example of a political ideology that in practice has not been exploited by the powers that be.

Yep, well, as far as I know it is.

I've seen it used often over the years by people from all over the world. I can't say however where it started.
