Less growth/activity in the economy means less use of resources, slower global warming, less destruction.

 

There is plenty, even too much, stuff and "prosperity". It just needs to be redistributed.

 

The unbelievable happened in Germany 1989. I believe in the unbelievable in the UK: a Starmer/Corbyn regime!

Greets, murphaph! I have been following stories about a rise in protests in Ireland about increasing numbers of " undocumented economic migrants ". In your opinion, is this justified or is it right wing populism?

Food prices have also risen in France. Came out yesterday  with the bottom of a carrier bag not even covered with a few staples. Somehow had spent 25 euros on next to nothing.

I  was at a baker's/ cafe yesterday and paid 3 euros 50 for half a roll with a thin slice of cheese, a tiny piece of tomato and a teeny weeny slice of cucumber.
