Posted 1 Dec 2021 We have a strange situation now, Mr Scholz is the probable or designated Bundeskanzler Ms Merkel is the Geschaeftsfuehrende (caretaker) Bundeskanzlerin, so there are sort of two people in charge. Soon Mrs Merkel shall be gone, but she will have some staff including TWO drivers! Posted 1 Dec 2021 I wouldn't begrudge Mutti a couple of drivers. I dare say she has worked as much as most of us in 32 years in those 16 she served. Posted 27 Jan 2022 Boring is good. Mrs Merkel is lying low, she does not even want to be Ehrenvorsitzende, honorary chair of the CDU. ACAB, Mrs Baerbock the foreign minister was pictured in a coat resembling a bathrobe. Well, Von der Leyen as Minister of Defense was a disaster: A400M, Mali, Gorch Fock, nepotism.Just a few examples. In other countries you have to leave, but she is buddies with Mutti.
