Anyone here living in the Oberpfalz?

Are there people living or who have lived in the Oberpfalz, Frankonia or Saxony areas or any area close to the Czech Republic? Did you visit as a tourist Czechia often? How are the German borderlands anyway, esp. interested in areas around Amberg. I fell in love with Western Bohemia on street view but there's no Street view for Amberg or most German cities. There's for Munich or Nuremberg but it's old and of low quality. Would you say it's possible to enjoy both cultures?

Although most have moved on to Facebook groups, haven't really used TT since 2012 or so.

It's the best part of Germany, in my opinion, I have visited Czechia a few times as a tourist, yes.

I agree, it must be great (well, not enough Street View grhrhr to check it out, but if the Czech side of the border is any indication I love the whole area from Nuremberg to Pilsen and from Coburg/Hof down to the Austrian border).
