Car sale

Has anyone used carsales24. I urgently need to sell my car but not sure of this method.

Failing that does anyone know of a dermatologist that doesn't charge for treating melanoma.  Stupidly I thought my health insurance would cover it. I'm up on the North Sea coast

I've sold a car in a couple of hours via mobile.de's quick sale to trade option:  Autoverkauf - Gebrauchtwagen einfach verkaufen (mobile.de)

I wasn't aware that selling cars helped treat melanoma though...perhaps keep the top up, if you're driving a convertible (sorry, couldn't resist)!

I sold my car through wirkaufendeinauto in berlin with no issues was fast. Price was a lot higher than offered for trade in at dealer. of course i could have sold it for more as a private sale but did not have the time, or the deutsche skills to deal with that. They give you a

estimate but the actuall amount i got was higher when i started the real process

I second wirkaufendeinauto.  You can get an offer from them anyway.  You don't have to take it.  When you register, they will give you a ballpark figure what you can expect but they will only give you a real offer when you show up in person because they have to see the condition of the car.

I was trying to help ppl sell their car a couple of yrs. ago.  They were offered 9k by a dealership.  We put it on autoscout but no takers.  Took it to wirkaufendeinauto and when they were asked how much they wanted, they said 10k and got it.  If you choose to list it yourself, there's autoscout24, mobile.de and ebay kleinanzeigen.

I have a melanoma on my forehead. The consultant will not remove it until I have a full body scan. This I must pay for because it is not covered by AOK. I can not afford it. We have been out of work for months with covid. I must sell my car to pay for my treatment. I tried mobile.de but their offer was too low. I'm prepared to sell at rock bottom but I'm not giving it away

1) Have you thought of seeing another consultant?

2) What does it cost?

I've had a full body scan on AOK.  My dermatologist said it's covered every 2 or 3 years.  I suggest you try another doctor.

This is clearly so much mad nonsense I do not know how to respond really.   What sort of help does someone like this need?   Perhaps it is some sort of a (much needed) release valve.  Some truth and a lot of bullshit. AH has form here and is now jumping the shark.  Having to sell car to get a scan when you have a life threatening cancer close to your brain.  Your doctor demanding cash.  In Germany.  Hic.

We've been told 2000, hence the need to sell my car fast. I've been told its easily treatable right now so We've reduced the price but carsale24 seem quite pushy. Mobile.de offered a silly price, as did another selling site. I'm getting interest from the South but I'm on North Sea coast

First talk to AOK to clear this up.  Second, talk to another doctor.  Third, if you still need to sell your car, take it to a dealer or two for an estimate and try wirkaufendeinauto.de as well.  If you don't like either estimate, you can still list and sell privately.

@john g. If his public KK is being arsey, is there some kind of system to mediate the situation? (quite fast, in this case).

@Henribear - That stuff from Panda looks useful  - may at least give you some info to take to the table.

It seems as though you really need a consultant who will state clearly to the KK that this is part of the normal treatment and therefore should be covered.

AOK sucks. Thieves as far as I am concerned. I changed KK eventually and they lied to try to prevent me leaving. Had to get a lawyer on the job just to get away from them.

You mention a scan what kind of scan? I have a feeling you are talking about a full body mri verses a full body dermatology scan which takes maybe 30 minutes and is coveredby kk once every 2 years as mentioned and even if you pay for dermatoligy scan  it would cost like 100. Find another dr. If asking for full body mri then totally unnessecary and  should lead you to new dr immediately.  Nothing you need should cost 2k. Get a new dr asap.

I'm with AOK and although they've never outright refused to pay for something, they've gone to MDK twice to try to avoid paying, unsuccessfully.  A friend who is self employed ended up owing them 5000€ after it came out that he might have made more money in 2019 than he did in 2018.  He asked to pay in installments because we've kind of had a pandemic and he doesn't have 5000 just laying around.  They said sure so he's paying his monthly fee plus another 500 in installments and then they still go and block his health card.  He asked them why and they said they will continue to block it until he's paid up on the debt.  So he asked them why he is paying a monthly fee for no service.  No reply.  He's changing now and it doesn't seem like they are trying to prevent him from leaving.

As for Henribear, we've never actually heard whether it's AOK saying they wont pay or whether it is the dermatologist saying they wont or even whether the full body scan is necessary and according to whom.  In a situation like that, I'd be talking to AOK and MDK if AOK refuses and seeing another specialist.

Sold car, will talk to aok anyway. We were of the understanding that it was just the thing on my head to be removed.  I understand the full body check before it's removed but not to hold me to ransom with a pay first demand. We have now been told to return to original consultant and get directed to the hospital not a clinic.  Also been told that the charges are too much. Thank you for your help.  We sold privately in the end
