Proof of negative Schnelltest?

6 posts in this topic

If you go for a Schnelltest in one of the free centres that have sprung up, do you get a written confirmation of a negative result?

(for presenting to shops/ restaurants etc. Not for e.g. air travel which I imagine demands something Very Official with a million Stempels!)

It depends on the test centre. One place I went to sent an email and at another I had to download an app. Nor all test centres will have an on-site printer. It is better to verify in advance if you want a certain type of confirmation.

The places I have been too provided an email with a link to download a PDF certificate. However, the businesses I have been too accept the email too (just show it to them on your phone). Good luck!

In my area, all of the free rapid test stations use the Chayns app (corona.chayns.de) as the preferred method of reporting; however, paper test results are available for those without the app.  The app is easy to use and the certificate shows up in the app wallet in about 15 minutes.  Since the certificate is valid for 24 hours, it disappears from the wallet some time after the 24 hours passes.

FYI for travel depending on country, a schnelltest printed off from one of those free sites it sufficient. No stamp, just PDF printed off. I tried it and it worked out.
