Went to the dentist, came out with permanent nerve damage

1 post in this topic

In June last year I had a wisdom tooth infection and the dentist immediately made a simple operation (to remove a piece of the gum- not the tooth) which has left me with what seems to be permanent nerve damage (I can't feel half of my tongue still). He is now trying to claim that he warned me of the risks of the operation, which he didn't. Anyone had a similar experience or can advise on if I have a right to any compensation?
