how to access photos from a 3G phone

9 posts in this topic

If all else fails and there aren’t many photos, just email them to yourself from the phone and download from your email on the laptop.

So I can recently took possession of a 3G phone with some photos I want to keep. I have no idea how to transfer them to my laptop.

Any ideas?

Stay safe

I think we are going to need a bit more info...

For starters, are they your photos? You say you took possession of the phone, you never mentioned taking them yourself...

(oh, and the make/model etc may also be helpful...)

...are they your photos?

What's that got to do with the price of fish?

The phone belonged to my Mum who died recently. The photos are just family snaps.

When I switch the phone on I get a green search light with the name DORO appearing.  When I top up this pay as you go phone I use Tesco website. Tesco are a big supermarket chain in the UK.

There are just 2 sockets at the side. One is for the recharge lead and the other is for headphones.

there is a number on the phone

DORO 6520

When I do take a photo, I am given an option to send. There are then 3 further options.

send by MMS

send by Bluetooth

send by e mail

I tried e mail as the best bet but get the phrase Not Configured.

I may have cracked it. I did not realise that the recharging lead doubles up as USB connecting lead: I made the connection between the phone and my laptop and soon found where Mums photos were, I am not sure if I managed to save them but I sure I can do that soon. .
