Still gets me every time. Ted Nugent, who has been a consistent coronavirus denier in the dumbest of ways, has Covid-19.

He's been running around like nothing is going on.

I love the Charles Darwin quote!😂

Erm, can you provide a link to the so-called racist language he used to describe the virus? American hero virus? Kent variant? German measles? Etc

Ok, I can't understand what this means:

Quote
  • Restrict personal contacts to one household and one other person, not counting children under 14. Exemptions include meetings of spouses and partners or the exercise of custody and access rights.

It seems to say I can meet with people from another household... right? And what does "one other person" mean?

What is the website that people here use for daily vaccinations counts in DE?

The science suggests the dominant strain here is just as infectious to children so I don't understand why they are not counted when considering contacts with other households.

Please post a link to the journal in which "the science" establishes this result with facts and data.   😱

You are a believer then?

This is a terrifying sentence in relation to science, and especially health and personal autonomy.

Well, here in Schleswig Holstein our neighbours over the border are

throwing us (sorry, lending us) what they currently don't need....

55,000 doses of the AZ vaccine.

That should get the over 60's group started (just like NRW, BW, MV)

Since Denmark is not currently inoculating AstraZeneca's vaccine, the country wants to loan part of its own supplies to Schleswig-Holstein.

By handing over the 55,000 cans, Denmark says it is responding to a request from Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU). Günther was pleased: "That shows the special connection in the border region, and I would like to expressly thank you on behalf of the state government for this very trusting cooperation." Originally the vaccine doses were supposed to be distributed throughout Germany, but the Danish government only approves distribution in Schleswig-Holstein.

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2021-04-21/california-coronavirus-case-rate-among-nations-lowest

This is the state that was apparently achieving nothing with the lockdown and should have opened up the same as Florida which has an average of 6700 new cases per 7 days compared to Californias 2,200 per 7 days.

Or was it supposed to follow Texas which has only 3300 per 7 days.

No wait it was supposed to follow Sweden which has only 5500 new per 7 days.

The Danish have 200.000 doses of AZ that they've decided not to use. In their opinion,  the risk of blood clots would outweigh the benefits of getting ppl vaccinated like a week faster with their current rate of infection.

Edit: Just read on the news that Norway is lending Sweden 200.000 doses of AZ and lending Iceland 16.000 doses.  Norway has already vaccinated almost everybody 65 and older and are not using AZ for younger people than that.

Fake Pfizer vaccines found in Mexico and Poland

Quote

JULIE HYMAN: And Anjalee, meanwhile, there are reports emerging-- and Pfizer has confirmed-- that there are fake doses out there. Where are they? How many of them are there? How concerned do people need to be about this?

ANJALEE KHEMLANI: That's correct. So we got confirmation that Poland and Mexico have seen reports of a fake vaccines that have been given to individuals in the area, reports of up to 80, I believe, in Mexico. And that's really concerning. The company has said that they have been on the lookout for this, knowing that they are in a very internet-friendly environment, and e-commerce is so big.

A quote from them, a statement from them saying specifically that they have a team of ex-law enforcement and science specialists who are tracking this every day, have their eyes on this. And they're working with governments and law enforcement to ensure that if they get any reports of this, that they do follow up. So that's why we do know about these in Mexico and Poland. They have not confirmed any additional investigations, but do say that they are constantly on the lookout and will be investigating them as needed.

And a note, of course, that no vaccines are available online. If you do find one in a clinic, do make sure that it is federally approved.

Biontech first jab should be OK. Second one is harder.

Opposite with AZ. First is a knockout.

Apparently the strength of your immune system plays a big part in the side effects especially with these vaccines.

If you are young and have a good immune system then you are much more likely to get side effects because your immune system kicks in and works as hard as it can to combat the virus.

If your old or have a weak immune system then the side effects are likely to be less severe or non existent because your immune system cannot work as hard.
