Erstattung "Privatzahnarzt ohne Kassenzulassung" and Private Dental Extension INsurance

3 posts in this topic

Hello,

my girlfriend is going to start soon a dental extension insurance (she is public). But among all the contract I have read there is always this sentence:

Erstattung "Privatzahnarzt ohne Kassenzulassung"

What does it mean? That the insurance can refuse to reimburse any treatment in any case??

Thank you!

The opposite! You can use the supplementary private dental insurance even if the dentist doesn‘t take publicly insured people or work with public insurers.

But check the small print re pre-existing conditions, waiting times and which fee structure is allowed as a maximum plus which maximum refund is ok in the first, second, third etc years.

Thank you for the answer. Do they have a specific name in the contract the "maximal pro Jahre"??
