Private or postal blood tests

Hi all,

 

im a bit of nerd and like to track my health over the year. In the UK i was able to get blood tests done via the post or through my dr and specify which tests i wanted done.

 

i live in heidenheim and do not have a regular Dr here (i do have health insurance through TK) and i wish have something similar done - does anyone have recommendations for where i can go or if there is a website that lets me choose male hormone/female hormone or sexual health tests and have the test posted to me?

Just go to your doctor and talk to them.  Tell them that you will be paying yourself and they might then recommend a specific lab which might be cheaper etc.

You should also talk to your health insurance.  Then can advise what/how often you can get this done and paid for by them.  For example, they might be willing to pay once a year fo x, y, z but not a,b,c without a need specified by your doctor.
