★★★★★★★★★★ Gauri Bhasin ★★★★★★★★★★

Gauri : architect by day, comedienne by night. She tells dark stories that people enjoy laughing on. According to her, if you can laugh on pain, it's no longer painful.

★★★★★★★★★★ Saqib Rasul ★★★★★★★★★★

Originally from Pakistan, Saqib moved around as a kid and grew up in the Middle East and Australia, before settling in Germany, where he continues his efforts to finally grow up.

All throughout his childhood, Saqib was the odd one out, a little awkward, and, according to his therapist, he was destined for comedy even then. On a hot and humid afternoon in a boardroom meeting, during one of those presentations no one ever listens to, Saqib discovered his love for making people laugh.

Saqib's humour is observational, silly, personal, and definitely influenced by not only his many moves around the world, but also his continued efforts to become a fully vested adult. A master of words, his jokes are short and precise, like a surgeon's knife. They sometimes cut deeply, mostly at his own expense. Coupled with deadpan delivery, he can very quickly take an audience on a journey into his world.
The result: Loud and non stop laughter.

With his natural and cool demeanor on any stage, Saqib is one of the favourites of the Frankfurt Comedy scene and has performed all over Germany as well as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

★★★★★★★★★★ Meilor Bondoc ★★★★★★★★★★

Born in 1975 to Filipino immigrant parents who just came to Germany and settled near Cologne, Meilor grew up in a mostly German environment.

He decided to stay in Germany after a rather unusual - but adventurous youth- and picked Frankfurt to work as a real-estate-agent and turned into a landlord himself after his studies.

After a long day at the office he went to see a Stand-up Comedy Show of SUP Comedy and was curious to try it out himself on one of their open mics.

Only three years later he´s now touring around as one of the few bilingual comedians and performs on mix shows and open mics in German and English!
He also takes care of the German branch of SUP Comedy and organizes the open-mics of the German-speaking Comedian Community in Frankfurt and also manages their roasts.

★★★★★★★★★★ Tom Franklin ★★★★★★★★★★

All the way from beautiful Baltimore (Maryland), Tom Franklin was born in the winter of 1980. Since starting his Standup endeavor in 2014 Tom has never been one to embrace political correctness with open arms.

His Style can best be described as whimsically dark leaving you shaking your head while holding your stomach.

His brash yet silly comedy can be seen in Frankfurt, Germany where Tom Franklin has been honing his craft as a member of the city's thriving English speaking comedy scene.

★★★★★★★★★★ Tom Karppinen ★★★★★★★★★★

Tom Karppinen is a stand-up comedian originally from the cold and dark country of Finland. He appears regularly in different shows in Germany and occasionally in Ireland, England and Finland. His comedy is a mixture of audience interaction with fast wit, self deprecating stories, making fun of cultural stereotypes and accents. Tom grew up with a pack of wolves in Finland, spent his childhood avoiding old people in Florida, ended up studying in the U.K. and now he is imitating working life in Germany. He is also the host of the English Late Night Comedy Show "Frankfurt Limelight".

★★★★★★★★★★ Austin Francis ★★★★★★★★★★

Bronx, New York native Austin Francis is a Rapper/Emcee, with a talent for wordplay and storytelling. Music is a first love for him. It is an outlet to speak from the heart, and was/is therapeutic.

He was first discovered a couple of years ago by Sup Comedy and hasn’t stopped performing since then.

From family (a father of 2) relationships, work, and all things in between, Austin speaks, using things he applied to rap: wordplay and storytelling especially, to comedic results.

As a huge lover of Comedy as well growing up with influences by many, he never thought he would be a comedian, though.

Safe to say, he's glad he tried, taking a quote he heard growing up: "Laughter is the best medicine".

Hosted by Kirthy Iyer

★★★★★★★★★★ Kirthy Iyer ★★★★★★★★★★

Born and raised in India, graduated in Canada and now surviving in Germany, Kirthy Iyer is surely 'Living the Life!'. In 2011, Kirthy turned to stand-up comedy and has he been a huge crowd favourite on stage. He has performed all over Europe and at the 2017 + 2018 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, having no difficulty whatsoever keeping the audience in stitches. A comedian who does irritable, playful and brutally honest riffs about anything and everything from his life.

What the comedy professional scene is saying:

“A darkly comic undercurrent full of intelligent insights.”
- Laughing Panda Productions

"Kirthy Iyer is an extremely talented and unique voice on the comedy scene."
- World Wide Comedy
