Lawyer to sue (or legal advice) against a bank (N26)

4 posts in this topic

Hi all,

Long story short, 2 saving deposits, one from August 2018, and other from April 2019, both 2k each, when they ended, the money that was due on my account... never happens.

N26 is "investigating", BaFin (the german regulator) looks more like an outside then a regulator, since apparently doesn't act on concrete cases and never replied anything useful.

So, would like to move this forward, and maybe sue N26, because this is pathetic, simple saving accounts and they lost the money?!

But, since this is a odd thing, don't even know, which type or lawyer should I go?

If you have legal cost insurance call them first for authorisation and possibly you´ll berestricted to one they have a contract with (depending on your contract). If you don´t I´d suggest to first consult a Verbraucherzentrale. Will be cheaper and might solve your problem as well.

I was thinking to open a side account with N26 and reading all these recent news about N26 now makes me wonder, if I should do that or not
