Strictly Stand Up English comedy in Berlin 16-17 Apr. 2019

1 post in this topic

Looks like the folks at Quatsch Comedy Club have put together another outstanding lineup for next week's shows, particularly headliner Allan Havey, star of stage and screen. From their website:

Look forward to these fabulous comedians:

Ian Moore (UK)

Ian Moore is a headlining comedian, bestselling author and chutney enthusiast. He lives in the south of France and commutes to the UK weekly for work – at least for now. In his act, he explores the things in life that he likes (few) and the things that bother him (many).
“One of the country’s top comedians” (The Guardian)

Fredrik Andersson (SWE)

Fredrik, our featured act, was a mainstay on the Swedish comedy club circuit and TV star, but he chucked it all to move to London, where he’s since debuted at all the major London clubs and featured at the Edinburgh Fringe.
“A force to be reckoned with on the British comedy circuit” (The Comedy Store, London)

Allan Havey (USA)

Known from Mad Men, Letterman, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and much more, Allan Havey has worked with all the greats and is considered one of the best stand-ups working today. His career spans over four decades of laughs and we’re thrilled to have him as our headliner.
“Cocksure, irreverent, and very funny” (The New York Times)

Spotlight Berlin: Freddi Gralle (GER)

Freddi grew up between Sierra Leone and the German province. For many years, the only stages Freddi spent much time on were those in church. Now she is doing comedy – so being judgmental comes in handy.

As always, your host is the lovely and talented Christian Schulte-Loh, that rarest of all creatures, a funny German comedian.

The Quatsch Comedy Club is a great, intimate comedy venue, with just 300 seats, in the basement of the Friedrichstadtpalast on Friedrichstraße 107.

Tickets start at €19 plus service charges, or free of service charges at the box office on the evening of the show (subject to availability).

There are free baby margaritas in the lobby before the show and happy hour afterwards, when you'll have the chance to chat with the comics, if you're so inclined. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Come out and support English comedy in Berlin!
