It's a big company. Airbus has its faults, but the company in itself is good to work for.

Experiences within Airbus differ drastically based on position and colleagues though. Airbus employs the odd asshole, same as any other company.

There are differences for Airbus personnel vs non-Airbus personnel which might be relevant to you. It's challenging to get fired with an Airbus contract, but subcontractors are juggled in-and-out quite frequently. Also, as subcontractor you pay an additional 30% on lunch.

You can get on-site via car if you drive to the south or take the ferry from Teufelsbrück (Don't try and get a parking spot there after 06:00). The site has several lunch options and . . . . lots of work spaces.

Airbus Finkenwerder

Used to go there every day of the week in the 90s to work! It was laid back then but these days..security getting in is time-consuming. My first ever Grünkohl was there..awful Kantine back then! It improved immensely when more French turned up to work there!
