Does anyone know if you can use the gift cards from Germany in the USA?

I want to buy a gift card for a present for someone in the usa. Can they use it in the US or will it only be able to be used in Germany?

Highly unlikely. You buy a gift card from one company, but don't expect another to provide the goods. Depends where you are buying your gift card. Amazon? Would still be probablematic as amazon.de is not amazon.com.

 

Buy the gift card on Amazon.com and you may stand a chance.

Unless you're specific and it can be checked, this is probably not possible. However, you could also buy a gift card in the US (online).
