Can one be registered in Germany and Denmark?

Hi all,

Quick question. If I were to move from Germany to Denmark, but occasionally want to come back here to flat I'm renting, do I need to admelden? I do work now and again here and would have to keep doing so. Or is it simple legally feasible to simply keep the flat here, sublet the room (which is fine as per the contract) and simply carry on? I understand I'd have to make arrangements for health insurance and the like.

Thanks so much for any advice.

You need to do Abmeldung if you "move out of the apartment", which in case of you subletting only the room and still going back from time to time clearly doesn't happen. But note by living in two countries you will get the responsibilities from both of them, e.g. taxes.
