I just moved to Weiden last fall from California to be with my German husband. I miss having girlfriends to hang out with here. I love outdoor sports as well as dancing or just brunch or a wine night.

I don't live there anymore - it was 16 years ago when I worked for the US Army, but Weiden is a nice town. I lived just outside in Rothenstadt. It has a nice thermal swim baths, the town high street is a pedestrian zone with lovely summer evening beer terraces. Outside i wouldn't be surprised to see cross country skiing trails (Loipen). Also, Czech Republic is an hour away. Enjoy.

I moved about 15 minutes away from Weiden in the Fall of last year too. Also raised in California (in the Burbank area and the OC). But moved here from Washington D.C. I miss having girlfriends too! Let me know if you plan a brunch or a wine night.
