Posted 15 Feb 2022 Good pick. I've had it for 2 years - up 44.10%.
Posted 22 Feb 2022 I can't bring myself to buy war stocks individually. Only in index funds...
Posted 28 Feb 2022 Another War Day on the stock market. Almost everything down except Lockheed and Raytheon (thank you, Germany).
Posted 28 Feb 2022 I took off the table more than half of my stock holding in Jan/early Feb. But sure I am down on what's left
Posted 28 Feb 2022 I'm doing fine: my investments in Berkshire Hathaway are holding up and partially compensating the downturn. I'm investing a bit more and overall feeling very detached from the stock market at the moment. Either there's a de-escalation and things will improve or I have other, much more serious concerns. I really miss the simpler times of Corona.
Posted 1 Mar 2022 I'm still under, but vastly improved from how I was BEFORE the war... go figure.

Posted 2 Mar 2022 I've worked for a completely awful person who must have had that list carved into his bedroom ceiling. Lying to his employees, then lying about the same thing to his clients, and pocketing the difference - just one of his daily routines.

If so, which brokers are you using?

Posted 3 Mar 2022 Lost 30% since peak in early January, back to November numbers, but now slowly recovering and hopefully big win by EOY. Basically had a huge peak in Nov/Dez.
Posted 3 Mar 2022 My broker called the other day and said I was only 4% down since the Jan. high. Not bad considering that was an all time high for me. The markets sure have been volatile to say the least. We did a little trading.
Posted 9 Mar 2022 Hertz up 10% today. People now realized that renting EVs is much cheaper due to gas costs, as Hertz has 100.000 Teslas! Speaking of Tesla, it's at bargain price! Not as good as a week ago, but Q1 numbers are smashing records, while BMW, VW, Porsche are stopping production.
Posted 9 Mar 2022 I'm upset to hear that McDonalds, Pepsi and Coca Cola had to be severely pressured to get out of Russia. They make it sound like they did it willingly. I own all three. BTW, everything is up today. A lot. Woohoo!
Posted 9 Mar 2022 IKEA, Heineken, SHELL and KFC stopped their business in Russia as well. Now, Russians have to drink Russian beer.
Posted 9 Mar 2022 McDonald's is not only shut down in Russia, it's still paying the employees. But how long will it last? Will other companies follow this lead?

Posted 10 Mar 2022 They will be valueless in Russia soon. Think Reichsmarks.
