I'm pregnant and the father disappeared.
How legally I lawyer can go to find this person?
I heard about Vaterschaftsfeststellungsklage, how it is processed?
And about costs?

I cannot link this to your previous topics. Previously you were a man who was paying money for child care and now you got pregnant. Seriously?

You seem to change your skin a lot. I thought you were a man about to divorce his wife and were asking how much child support you'd have to pay if you moved to another country?

Or are you just asking for all your friends?

If someone is pregnant and can not find the father of her child, if she needs money she can go on welfare and they will find the father for her because they want their money back from him. Otherwise she can start by asking Jugendamt or talking to a lawyer.

I love LeonG’s reply.

I can imagine you / this pregnant woman is in a world of emotional pain - I’m so sorry.

At least here in Hamburg you will get time off after giving birth as well as welfare plus a free tracking service for the runaway dad.

I wonder if the authorities will lock him up when they find him if he can’t pay? Not sure how that works here in Germany.

Save your money or go spend it on some nice maternity goodies - runaway dad will be found or possibly / hopefully  come back on his own.

All the best - X

@Moonwave @LeonG @ALLalone
this issue is not with me. Maybe my approach to the topic and the blog was not correct, but as I said I wanted to see both sides to help my family.

Many thanks to all and thanks for your comprehension.

Please take time to word your posts.

People on the forum give their time free of charge and although willing to help, they will not take kindly to people they think are not telling the whole truth or just taking the piss.

@cb6dba
I'm really sorry for this, I'm not the best blog user (never did), didn't want to create any mess.
Your information I guess was good to have at least one idea but I guess a Lawyer will be better to my relative.
Once more, many thanks for all your help.

However, not all foreign women are eligible for welfare.
