Trump's Presidency: Is this the next domino to fall?

5,004 posts in this topic

Scaramucci (I call him "scary movie") is tough talking here about leakers at the White House and he alludes to Reince Priebus (Trump's Chief of Staff) should explain if he's leaking information from the White House. There's friction between Scaramucci and Priebus.

The White House is in chaos right now with fighting and jockeying for power amongst the staff. Priebus and Bannon were against Scaramucci being hired and from what I've seen the last week, Scaramucci is divisive and he sounds and acts a lot like Trump.

I predict Reince Priebus will be the next domino to fall and will be out of the White House in 6-8 months, if not sooner.

Scaramucci Doubles Down on Complaints of Leaks.

This report says Scary Movie called Reince Priebus a "paranoid schizophrenic" and he accused Priebus of leaking his financial statements to the press.

He had a very colorful description of Steve Bannon.

And just like that, the story about Don Jr.'s meeting  and the failure of repeal and replace will be pushed out of the headlines.

Yeah but when an administration is marked by as much chaos, miscommunication, and incompetence as this one, what would you expect?  There is a new "issue" practically every day, the media is struggling to keep up.

And the ban on transgender citizens serving in the military and his reckless political speech last week at the Boy Scouts Jamboree which caused the Boy Scouts to issue a public apology about Trump's political rhetoric.

There's so much conflict coming out this White House with Trump on a weekly basis.

Here's what Scaramucci Trump's communication director  said about Bannon.

How old is Scaramucci? You would expect someone in his position to be more diplomatic. Could Scaramucci be sued for slander (I doubt that he has evidence of Bannon trying to suck his own cock!)

Scaramucci is 45 years old. He's loud, his brash, he's fast-talking, tough,  he has no filter, he's divisive, he's Trump.

It going to be a major shake up at the White House soon with Bannon, Priebus, and Scaramucci and other White House aide.

More tough talking by Scaramucci. Btw, Scaramucci reports directly to the president.

My prediction is accurate, on the same day I made that prediction Reince Priebus, the White House Chief of Staff  tendered his resignation after being forced out of the White House. John Kelly, whom headed the Department of Homeland Security is now Trump's new Chief of Staff. Prior to his job as Chief of Staff Reince Priebus was Chairman of the Republican National Committee.

According to this article in Politico Reince Priebus was actually one of the major architects of Trump's victory.

Quote

The RNC chairman spent years — and tens of millions of dollars — quietly building the machine that paved the way for Trump’s upset win.

Six months in, Trump has fired or replaced his chief of staff, his deputy chief of staff, his communications director, his press secretary, his national security adviser, a deputy national security adviser, and one of his White House spokespersons.

Here's his speech at the Republican Convention

Another Trump "accomplishment" likely in the toilet. What's that you say, market? Market, speak up! The folks way in the back are trying hard not to hear you.

Quote

A TransCanada Corp. executive told investors Friday that it is still assessing interest in Keystone among the oil companies that would pay to use the Canada-to-Texas line, as well as seeking remaining regulatory approvals, and it will likely decide in November or December whether to build.

The disclosure means that one of President Trump’s signature energy policy promises — to approve Keystone and get it built — may fall victim to commercial pressures and not get done.

Won't matter. He's on Mueller's radar now, if he wasn't before. Let the braying masses seek their topics. Bannon can blow himself all he wants (but probably not as much as he'd like to).

Hell, maybe he and Scary Moochie can 69 each other, now that the Mooch's wife has filed for divorce.

Trump to police: 'Don't be too nice'

A police officer murdering the victim of a crime is being too nice?

Trump's the epitome of White Privilege.  And it's the people who deny White Privilege who adore him.  Unaccountable.

Hmm. I know some who deny it and hate him :)

I fully agree, though, that after Obama, things came out of people that they didn't expect, and now that they're out, they're out and proud, like Catnip. Trumpnip.

After Bill Browder's Senate testimony, it has come out that Fusion GPS, which provided the Steele Dossier, was actually working with Natalya V and "the Russians".   The Don Jr. story is dead.

There are substantial policy issues where the Dems will need to have some political credibility to mount an opposition and influence negotiations, e.g.

1.  repeal or rewrite of the Affordable Care Act

2.  tax reform

3.  immigration reform

4.  confiscation of property / cash from accused criminals

5.  trade policy

6.  foreign policy

The Dems have bet the farm on a Russian conspiracy narrative with no traction and unless they perform a brutal purge of the Clintonistas who put them on this suicidal path, the party will be destroyed.

FWIW, unemployed workers in Ohio wants jobs and they don't give a flying rat's tail about rectifying the injustices of white privilege.   Nine months after the election, that point should be obvious, but it still isn't.
