Advice needed on balancing multiple clients as a freelancer.

5 posts in this topic

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to read!  Any advice is much appreciated, it's really a legal question relating to freelance work.

My situation is this...

I am a freelance teacher and over the course of the year have so far worked for 3 different companies, working various hours for each. Now I have been offered a freelance position from September to December with up to 30 hours per week from one of these companies.  Am I able during these 4 months to only have work from this company? Do I need to simultaneously have more than one client/company I work for, or is it collectively over the year I need more than one?

Thanks Toytown!

Yes, no problem.

The latter, don't worry.

Fantastic, thanks for your swift reply! :)

You're welcome. Having only one client for months is standard for a lot of freelancers, e.g in IT.
