Thanks to all our fantastic performers last night - and to our lovely sold-out crowd. It was a great show: some fellas let out their inner pirates while one let out his inner fallen woman, while the women gave varied interpretations of why Bill Bailey should (or shouldn't?) come home. A stagelit moon for the Spanish song, and a rousing rendition of the African call and response Tshotsholoza in the bar afterwards.
There'll be more typical ESME variety in our next show on July 8 in the Gasteig, where the Orchestra and Big Band display their own talents -- mark your calendars now!
